What an incredible evening we all had at our ‘Enchanted Forest’ ball.
So much goes into planning our annual ball and we are incredibly lucky to have some amazing people who always give so much of their time to help us host such a spectacular event. We couldn’t have achieved what we did without the in-kind support of the following people.
A huge thank you goes to the construction department at Hull College, who made our brand-new lectern and happened to have the swing in the workroom from a previous project that they were more than happy for us to use – it looked absolutely stunning at the Hilton.
Thank you to Dave Blades at Hobson & Porter who is always so incredibly helpful in the run up to the ball, delivering and building the swing and not to mention putting together such a stunning backdrop which was a real focal point of the night and brought the Enchanted Forest magic alive.
Thank you to Trident and the team for designing and producing the wonderful programmes for the evening – they understood the assignment 100%!
Thank you to Transwaste for sponsoring our Grand Balloon POP which went down a storm and to Hull Trains for providing the Golden Ticket prize of 2 first class tickets to London.
We also received some incredibly generous raffle prizes and our thanks go to Brid Spa, PBS Construction, Princes Quay, Resource Finder, MKM, Hilton, Artisan Flowers, The Edge and Trident.
Not forgetting Aerialists Becki & Sarah McKinley who gave their time to choreograph a spectacular performance for everyone on the night and Rich Clark who got us all dancing at the end of the night with his set.
The evening raised an incredible £8,000 and will go along way in helping igniting dreams for our region's underprivileged children.
Watch this space for next year's ball!
