On Wednesday 7th June the Humber STEM event took place for over 500 primary aged children from schools across Hull and East Yorkshire. This is the second Humber STEM event that has taken place at Sewell Group Craven Park. The 500 primary school children took part in hands on STEM experiences and linked with a range of over 20 different businesses.
This event encompasses many of our values here at HEY CU. We want to give children the chance to learn about what is out there for them and show them as many different career opportunities as possible.
A child from this year's event said: " My favourite part has been meeting people in STEM and learning about different companies where I could work when I am older"
We love being a part of this event. If you're a business who would like to know more about what you can do to get involved then please email our School Liaison Manager Jessica Gibson, [email protected]
