The Virtual School Celebration Event, delivered in partnership with HEY Children’s University, celebrated the achievements of children and young people supported by both organisations.
Young people and their carers were invited as special guests through a Golden Ticket invitation, alongside partner organisations and council staff who joined in recognising their successes.
The evening was filled with fun and celebration, with a buffet, stilt walkers, a caricaturist and a magician entertaining guests. Children and young people received a range of awards in recognition of their achievements, while BBC Radio Humberside presenter Kofi Smiles delivered an inspiring closing speech, bringing the evening to a memorable conclusion.
The event was a wonderful opportunity to recognise the achievements of young people, celebrate their potential and highlight the importance of creating opportunities for every child to thrive.
