I've had the immense pleasure of volunteering with Hull & East Yorkshire Children's University for several school trips so far this year, and each experience has left an indelible mark on both the children and me. We embarked on journeys of exploration and learning, delving into the heart of the nation's capital to discover its rich history and vibrant culture.

From the awe-inspiring halls of Parliament to the iconic Buckingham Palace, from the bustling streets of Trafalgar Square to the dazzling lights of the West End, each destination sparked curiosity and wonder in the children's eyes. It was a joy to witness their excitement as they absorbed new knowledge and experiences, their enthusiasm infectious and inspiring.

One of the highlights of these trips was our visit to the National Science Museum, where history and technology came alive before our eyes. As we wandered through the exhibits, the children's imaginations soared, and their thirst for knowledge was palpable. It was a privilege to be a part of their learning journey, guiding them through the wonders of the past and igniting a passion for discovery.

Volunteering with Hull & East Yorkshire Children's University has been an incredibly rewarding experience, one that has reaffirmed my belief in the importance of investing in the future generation. By dedicating my time and energy to these trips, I've had the privilege of making a positive impact on the lives of these children, nurturing their curiosity, and inspiring them to reach for the stars.

As we strive to shape a brighter tomorrow, it is essential to empower our youth with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed. Hull & East Yorkshire Children's University is doing just that, providing invaluable opportunities for learning and growth. I am proud to have the opportunity to volunteer for them and look forward to continuing my journey with them, as we inspire the leaders of tomorrow.
